Bang, Bang, Bangs....2

I gots the haircut today, and there really isn't a noticable difference to other people, although I feel theres a large one. I mean with every I get I lose that pointyness of the pieces of hair, do you know what I mean? Well here's the results:
last week when I was sick: before haircut.

Today after the cut, its straight, which I never do,
but tomorrow I'll style it how I want.

What do ya think? Ignore the very awkward pictures above as well, hah.

And Now, what's making me happy this week:

Remember Me
You seriously have now idea how excited I am for this movie!
Cute Cupcakes
I want to learn how to make adorable cupcakes like these.
New Jeans
I ordered THREE new pairs of my favorite jeans on Sunday,
and they should be coming tomorrow, excited!
Tyler Hilton
This amazing man is coming to Atlanta on May 12 and I MUST go.
I've been dreaming to see him forever, he is amazing!
Vintage Prom Dresses
I am so in love with looking at these amazing dresses. I don't even know
if I am going to prom, but I just love to look at them!

Whats making you happy this week?

Bang, Bang, Bangs

I've had bangs on and off for all my life. I've had short, side swept, blunt, and wispy. I've got some thicker, odd side swept ones going on right now. I have a hair appointment tomorrow, and I'd really love a few looks at what ya'll think might work. Here are a few of my favorites. I have fine hair, but alot of it, and it tends to get flat, yet frizzy.

Yes, I know they all kind of look the same. But its SUCH a hard choice! Help me....

Getting to know You

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for all the really sweet comments that I've been getting recently. I just love that people are reading this and that I am able to be involved in such a great community, some of you really do inspire me so much.

GORGEOUS! I want to wear THIS to prom.

I absolutely love the idea of Kassi's getting to know you, its done every Sunday, but as you can see I'm a little late, but thats not going to keep me from playing along.

1. Are you more of a talker or a listener?

I can definitely be a rambler, when I'm around good friends and also when I'm nervous. I can also definitely be a good listener, but I don't think many people know that, I really love listening to people and finding out more about them.

2. Bra. Underwire or wireless?
Definitely underwire, bustyness runs in the family, hah.

3. I wish I was.....?
smaller, overall. But especially in height, I'm 5'10, plus the wide set hips also run in the family.

4. The Academy Awards are on tonight..will you watch?
I'm watched it all, every single minute in the more than 3 hours it was on. I adore the Oscars, as well as Jeff Bridges(best actor), Sandra Bullock(best actress) and The Hurt Locker(best movie). It was such a great night. Plus the dresses are to die for.

5. Do you put your deodorant on before or after you get dressed?
midway, I'm usually got maybe the pants on and the bra, then I go for the deoderant.

6. Would you rather do the dishes or clean toilets?
I kind of enjoy cleaning toilets, but maybe its just because its my own, so I'll go with dishes.

7. How much did you weigh at birth?
8ish pounds, maybe. I know I was 21 and 1/2 inches though, yeah, I was a freak of nature.

8. If you could only buy one thing for the Spring/Summer season..what would it be?
too many things, I mean, I am going off to college. Maybe a swimsuit, plus a laptop, and a dorm room.

and because I know how much you all care about what I think, the picture at the top is my favorite dress of the night, and well the worst is at the bottom, but man there were so many good ones and bad ones.

I'm sorry, but it so looks like 2 oven mitts are coming from behind and cupping her boobs.

Fill in the Blank...Friday!

Fill in the Blank Friday from Lauren over at The Little Things we do....(which is so adorable, btw.)

1. One thing I MUST do before I die is....fall in love. I know, how cheesy of me, but really. Doesn't everyone want to love and be loved. I know "I'm loved" by my parents and a few select friends, but we all have that. I want that love, that big love that you share with someone and it never goes away. I want a guy to love me for all the weirdness that I am, and I asure you, I'm strange.
2. I would rather...cook for an army than do calculus... any day.

3. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice it would be...simply don't worry. Things will work out the way they're supposed to, even though it may not seem like it. Friends will come, and friends will go, if they're not there for you now, then why care.
4. If I won the lottery tomorrow I'd buy an apartment in New York City, not one that I'd live in now, but one that I could use in the future. I'd then put the rest of it into savings, go to college and not have to worry about money and then graduate from college, travel and move into my NYC apartment.

5. The best surprise ever was when....to be honest, I've never really been suprised by anything real big. I mean stuff on like Survivor suprises me, but not people.

6. My biggest fault is...I care/worry too much. I know, coming from me that sounds crazy, but I do. I care what people think about me, I care if I'm doing things right, if I'm doing the right thing for myself and things like that. I always end up doing my own thing, but I just always worry if its really the "right" choice.

7. My biggest strength is...reading people, although it can sometimes come back to bite in the butt sometimes. I analyze things so closely, that overthink them, so maybe this should qualify as a weakness too, oh well.

Now for a little I'm not as sick, but still feel like crap update. So I went to school for the first time in 3 days today. I stayed until 10:30, discovered that no one really even gave a crap if I was there or not, found out some people didn't even think I was sick, and put myself into a crappy mood. I guess thats what I get for having a triple header of not just a stomach virus, but a shitty cold AND that time of the month, what a joy. But I have tomorrow to look forward to. I have to wake up, and go shopping for a dress and heels(I hate heels, they make my already skinny ankles look ridic) for my first vocal recital tomorrow, for which I'm competing for a 2,500 dollar scholarship. and I'm soooo freakin nervous. Just keep me in your prayers, and that my stomach virus doesn't effect my nerves so much that I throw up on stage, because that would suck, I can just picture it now.....

Driving Music

I've recently discovered that there are certain songs that I cannot drive to because they make me drive faster, like seriously, I drive like I'm Jason Bourne in one of the Bourne movies, speading through traffic, merging quickly and switching lanes in an instant. Please don't tell me I'm the only one who has this problem.

I've actually grown up wanting to be in the FBI or the CIA, toting a gun and taking down the bad guys. Speaking secret languages and knowing things that no one else knows. I just thought it would be the absolute best job. and since I'm pretty tough, and a good shot I thought that maybe going to law school and majoring in criminology would give me an edge to get recruited into the FBI,  but who knows. For now I'll just share my FBI driving music, maybe everyone else can drive fast to it too. I want to listen to this music and drive my *dream* black 1963 Comet Convertible, but I'd really take any classic convertible. I've even been so nice as to leave you some nice links to my drivin fast songs.

Right Here, Right Now- Fat Boy Slim(one of my all time favorites)
Its totally 90s,  but its so good. This is probably the worst song to listen to in the car because I feel like I should be in a car chase with the cops. I want to constantly be looking over my shoulder to see if someones after me. Pretty much all of his stuff belongs on this list: Gansta Trippin, The Rockafella Skank, Praise You
If you've ever seen any of the Bourne movies, than you've heard this song. I mean no wonder I want to drive fast when I hear this song, I just imagine Bourne jumping off of that building in the last movie. If you haven't seen any of the movies. GO NOW and watch them immediatley, they're genius.
Another Way to Die- Jack White and Alicia Keys
This is from James Bond: Quantum of Solace, which I didn't even like that much, but this song just makes me feel....sneaky.
Again, this song is so 90s, I even remember listening to it on Sabrina the Teenage Witch(he did a guest spot). But its so upbeat and quick, I love it. Plus, he's pretty hot.
Both of these songs are from the 90's movie, GO. And if you haven't noticed, I'm totally obsessed with the 90's, and I'm jealous of anyone who really grew up in the 90's.

All of these songs just make me drive fast, and wish I'd grown up in the 90's. For anyone who did, was it really better? This has made me want to do a Why the Ninties Rocked Post really bad, so look forward to that!

Month of March

You'd think that since I'm sick, I would be getting so much work done, but I'm not. I'm sleeping until 10, watching too much TV and reading all my favorite blogs and probably being the most annoying commenter ever. But I don't care. So with so much time on my hands, I will give you a little taste of what I'm loving/going to love in March.

Cherry Blossom Festival
One of the only things my little town has going for it is the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival thats usually held the 2nd/3rd week of March. The city goes crazy with spirit, people flood in from all over the world. Little Asian couples camp out in my my street, walking around our nieghborhood taking picture in from of all the trees. It really is so pretty.

College Acceptances

March 15th to be exact, is the date I'm supposed to hear back from UGA. The college I want to go to, the arches above are the Athen Arches, its said that if you walk through them before you graduate, then you'll never graduate from UGA.

Warmer Weather

So right now for Georgia in March, its pretty cold, I mean it almost snowed last night. I'm ready for it to be warm again, for those few weeks in between cold and sweltering where I can go outside in jeans and a short sleeved shirt and not be miserably cold/hot.

Road Trips

This month I'm driving to Athens by myself, plus I think me and a friend are going to go to Milledgeville to visit her sister, and I'm driving! Woooo. I really want to to go to Atlanta to, or to a day trip to the beach.

John Mayer
This amazingly talented man is coming to Altanta March 17th and I want to see him so badly it hurts. I know I never will, but gosh, his music just amazes me. I know people say he's a douche, but I find it hard to believe that a man who makes such beautiful music and such stunning lyrics can be that bad.

Essie Spring Collection
I love it! and I want it now, especially this color lilacism. I just love essie so much, I really don't think I can ever wear a diferent nail polish.

Spring Break
I'm not one of those teenagers who goes crazy during their spring break, but I still want to have fun and go to the beach and get cute swimsuits and go shop at Ikea with my friends. I just want to do so much in only a week, thats all. (picture: now that would be an awesome spring break)

Flip Flops
I have a total addiction to flip flops, and now that the weather is hopefully about to get warmer people won't look at me crazy when I wear my flip flops and pretty sandals.

Planning New York Trip
My mom and I have been seriously discussing it, and we're pretty darn sure that we're going to NYC this summer, so now I get to plan, and even though my favorite part is just walking around and looking at everything, I still love to look online at hotels and find really good deals, its so much fun. I even have this little moleskin notebook that I bought just for NYC, it has little subway maps, and I write down all the places I need to go, I can't wait to live there. Plus, if you have anything you think I have to do in NYC, let me know.

Two Things, that I'm loving

So I've decided to go and do Bacwoods ferns creative and definitely interesting and informational: "Two Things I love...around my home" posts. I love looking at everybodys links every week, so I'm joining in, so since I'm at home sick right now with a nasty stomach flu and the need to read Heart of Darkness looming over my shoulder, I'm going to put off the inevitable with my favorite things around my/parents home.

I'm really loving the view from the roof of my parents bathroom. During the summer I climb through the window and lay out on the burning black tiles(with 3 blankets underneath me) in the warm noon sun, so in Macon is more sweltering than warm, soaking up the sun, even if its bad for me. I know its winter now, and its rainy and miserably cold, but its still so pretty and I can't wait to lay out again soon.

In our downstairs guest bathroom we have this little shelf above the sink that holds all of these cute little perfume bottles and old powder boxes. All of them are so dainty and old looking, some of them even still have old stagnant perfume in them from the 60s. This green one is one of my favorites, its still has a sickly sweet smell to it and the color and shape are just so unique, you don't see things like it anymore.

To join in on the fun, link up over at Bacwoods Fern and share your favorite things. Hopefully this time next year I'll be sending in a link of one of my favorite things from my tiny dorm in Athens. I still haven't heard back, but I'm praying that I will soon, its just such a pressure to not know where I'll be next year. Plus I need to start the roomate hunt, which I'm really nervous about.

Pray for me!
